-名的由来 / Why Sunny?-

My name is Sunny.

Most of the time, when i tell other person that my name is Sunny. Majority of them would ask the same question: "Why Sunny? I thought it is a male name?"

Why Sunny? Some would say:" Is it because of your always 'happy-go-lucky' and laugh a lot?"
Oh well, no! The reason is pretty simple. When I studied secondary school, people around me started to have their own English name. I was one of them that felt that having my own English name made me felt awesome and trendy.

Hence, I search dictionary (it was really a hard-copy of dictionary at that time). I once named myself 'Benice', 'Grace' and etc. But non of them last long as many people will have funny comments whenever I told them my english name, like:
'Grace? You are not graceful at all!'
'Benice? You wanna to be Be-Nice?'

So, I had to move on with choosing another English name. I like sunflower. I once have my email address as 'sunflowergarden@XXXX.com'. Once, I had a little internal mind-war:
Me A: "why not call myself Sunflower?"
Me B: "What? can't you choose a better name?  I am pretty sure that even more people will laugh at this name."
Me A:" If 'sunflower' is not a good choice, then what about just 'sun', quite cool, isn't it? "
Me B:"No!! This is too boyish!"
Me A: "..........."
Me B: "No other suggestion?"
Me A:" .......sunny....."
Me B:"I like this!"
Me A:"..........."

and this is the reason why I named myself as 'Sunny'. Simple reason, isn't it?

-Old Days-

Today when I browse through YouTube and check new updates of the channels that I had subscribed earlier. JinnyBoy TV has uploaded a new video, after watched it, I suddenly feel like replay the old videos that they had made years ago.

Then i found this video, . Time flies and I aged so much. This video remind me so much of my childhood. A happy, pure and simple childhood. It just like many other had mentioned and sighed for thousand times. My Generasi is so much different with generasi nowadays. 

Blame it to the technology! Many people would have saying this quite frequent. Well, technology is just simply knowledge developed to enhance and make our life easier. We are users, we get to decide how to use the devices invented. Phone, tablets and computer are merely invented to shorten times of doing many things.

When kids nowadays so obsessed by these devices? Hey, parents!  You should put the blame on yourself. You are guardian of your children, can't you control them? Yes, you can! However, many parents choose to use these devices to keep their little kids busy, so that their children will not bother them. As a result, kids are rather spend time on phone, tablet and computer since they are young.

I had a friend told me that, it is impossible not to give child tablet or they can never catch up with the trends and they can't mixed with their friends. If I assume what she said is true, now here is a question. What about those families that can't afford one? Is this mean that their children will not have friends? In fact, I had many friends that their kids having fun without all these 'cool' devices.

They played games, badminton, and run around the neighborhood. This is simply because their parents can't afford those devices. Maybe they unable to catch up with the latest trends,but they definitely have happy and special childhood that worth to laugh about for the rest of their life.

My generasi without advance devices, joys can be easily gained. We are poor, therefore we used many things passed over by other people. I played second-handed toys passed by relatives, but i can remember the happiness when we got them. It is simply heart-filled joys, I missed those days.

最近和爸妈迷上了《中国梦之声》。每个周日，我们都呆在家看节目。
其中，我们都有自己喜爱的选手。爸妈都喜欢马海生，郑兴琦；而我大爱朱兴东。

他没有帅气的外表，没有华丽的舞蹈，只有纯朴的歌声。
我很喜欢他的低调，唱歌时的深情，和瞬间的爆发力。
每一首歌都喜欢，除了<热情的沙漠>。

看着他一路闯关，真的很紧张，还好得了第二名!
朱兴东！加油！

-ALS Ice Bucket Challenge-

ALS seem to be a popular term that appear in most social networking websites recently. There are many people accept 'Ice Bucket Challenge' and donate $100 to the organisation.
When the number of participants become larger, there are also many people critique on this activity.

Some said that it's such a waste of ice, water and etc. Lately, some people even come out with 'survey' that the money donated to ALS is being abused by the related community as most of the fund consume on research and administrative cost.

Well, I never take any ice bucket challenge and also not that I don't agree ice bucket challenge has nothing much linked with ALS. However, I also must agree that no matter this challenge is good or bad, it's effective! Ice bucket challenge is merely a channel to attract people attention be it they really sincerely concern about ALS or they just want to catch up with the latest trend. So, just don't be so obsessed into finding out all the 'negative' disadvantages of this challenge.

In fact, this challenge successfully raise a large amount of fund in short period for ALS community. Besides, some people said that the funds had been misused by the community as the cash flow report shows that majority of the money spend on research purposes.

Alright, I guess that they just don't realise ALS is a disease without cure. All the ALS community can do is merely provide consultation, medicines, treatments and equipments to the patients. However, the one and only thing that all patients wanted most is definitely a cure for this disease, so that they never suffer again. This is the reason why research is the most important and costly thing for all disease without cure.

Thus, stop all the criticisms on the ice bucket challenge or attack ALS community. You suppose to help but not be an obstacle to ALS community

Music influence our mind by a set of mixed tempo, rhythm and pitch.
The frequency of the music can either directly and indirectly affect the frequency of our brain and also heart beat.

I love all genre of music. Different music create different mood.
I listen to electronic, house, trance and dance music when I need dynamic energetic mood.

Steve Aoki is one of the best. Most of his works are good. 'Boneless' is one of the hot playlist in my cellphone. So enjoy it if you like electronic music too.

This is a rock song, but I kinda like it as it just simply able to express the feeling of struggle through it's music and lyrics.

Rock song writer unlike mainstream pop song writer, the music is usually filled with rouse, rage and excitement. This song lyric is quite cool though. It's very simple in wording, but there are meanings beneath it.

距离最后一次的文章， 真的有好一段时候，
大概，我拥有了智能电话后，
就没再流连于此。

一个独居宿者，
一个木制小屋，

感谢每一个在你生命中出现的人，

简单的人生，最幸福；
平凡的一天，最快乐。

人生当中，
有许多人很想证明自己活得不平凡，
所以不惜一切去追求物质财富，
好让他人觉得自己活得很奢华，
华丽的背后隐藏着的叹息唏嘘，
值得吗？

有许多人很想让自己不比别人落后，
所以盲目了一切伦常仁义道德，
去夺取别人的伴侣成了第三者，
为了这种不堪一击的爱情犯傻，

很多人说，“我的青春不留白”
但若人生的日记上，
必须写上对不起自己或他人的‘英勇事迹’，

那倒是宁愿让人生留下一些纯洁的空白。
至少活得无愧于天。
